Review of Motor Vehicles Act.1988-Inviting Suggestions

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT & HIGHWAYS  (MVL SECTION)              Transport Bhavan, 1, Parliament Street, New Delhi-110 001   Dated the 24th September 2009     Sub:   Review of Motor Vehicles Act.1988-Inviting Suggestions.      Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has constituted a Committee under the Chairmanship of Sh. S. Sunder, distinguished Fellow, The Energy and  Resources Institute (TERI) and former Secretary Ministry of Surface Transport to review the Motor Vehicles Act,1988   Suggestions for review of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 are hereby invited from all concerned which will be considered by the Committee.  The suggestions, may be sent either by post to Shri S.K.Dash, Joint Secretary(Transport),Room NO. 516,Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Transport Bhavan, Parliament Street, New Delhi-110001  or through E-mail (sk.dash@nic.in)/(dirrt@nic.in) at the latest by 15th October,2009.   *****
