Invitation of suggestions for framing of Carriage by Road Rules

The Carriage by Road Act, 2007 has been notified on 1.10.2007. This Ministry is in the process of framing Rules under this Act and a Working Group under the chairmanship of Shri S.K. Dash, Joint Secretary (Transport) has been constituted to suggest draft Carriage by Road Rules 2007. The Working Group hereby invites suggestions/views from general public for framing of rules under the Act. The Carriage by Road Act is available in this Ministry's web-site. The suggestions/views in this regard may be sent to Shri S.K. Dash, Joint Secretary (T), Ministry of Road Transport and Highways through e-mail i.e. sk.dash@nic.in.
